Hi, The snapshot is just a copy of the current CVS code. It should compile and run, but not everything may work as expected. A database export/import will be required if you update to the latest snapshot, since the organization of the database files has changed. Apart from that, copying start.jar and exist.jar to an existing installation should be sufficient in most cases. I usually try to announce all changes that will lead to incompatibilities with existing code, but there's no documented process for updating. However, I may try to write a short document to help with upgrades. Anyway, I'm currently struggling hard to include all the changes I made during holiday and there will probably be a new snapshot tomorrow.
