I am currently playing around with eXist, and I am very pleased by the speed and flexibility. When testing it in the web interface against a sample XML document (see below) I got some results I don't understand. //div[nr=''] produces HTTP ERROR: 500 String index out of range: 0 Should it not return divs 5 and 6? //div[nr=0] returns nothing. Should it not return divs 5 and 6? //div[number(nr)=0] also returns nothing. //div[not(nr)] returns only div 7. How do I query for divs with empty "nr" tags? Thanks for any comments, Martin <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1" standalone="yes"?> <test> <div id="1"> <nr>1234</nr> </div> <div id="2"> <nr>2345.12</nr> </div> <div id="3"> <nr>1234 ABC</nr> </div> <div id="4"> <nr>ABC</nr> </div> <div id="5"> <nr></nr> </div> <div id="6"> <nr /> </div> <div id="7"></div> </test> |
