Wolfgang, To run a simple retrieve java example, with eXist embedded into the application (without starting any server), I have to use, besides the .jar that you told me, lib/core/xercesImpl.jar and lib/core/xml-apis.jar. I had no problem with the same program but with a not embedded instance (via rpc). When I started trying to run an embedded instance, I have to include the jars that you told me, and, when the document existed in the choosen collection (and only in that case) , I had other errors, so I had to include those other jars. If you want, I could compile the application whitout these jars, ant tell you the classes that weren't founded. I would like to know if there is any dtd support, and where I can find information about that. Thanks very much, Tizo Wolfgang Meier wrote: >>I am using version 0.9.1, so I would like to know if you have any idea >>about when version 1.0 would be released, because I need the XUpdate >>support. >> >> > >The CVS already contains support for most of XUpdate.
