I got it working with ajax, like the shakes app, with a secondary html file. This will work, but I would still like to know if there is a different way. $(document).ready(function() { $('#submit-button') .button() .click(function() { if (loading) { return; } loading = true; $.ajax({ url: "raw-ajax.html", data: { product_tag_number: $('#product-tag-number').val(), inventory_tag_number: $('#inventory-tag-number').val() } }) .success(function(data){ $("#results").html(data); loading = false; }); }); From: Misztur, Chris [mailto:CMi...@ma...] Sent: Tuesday, October 08, 2013 8:45 AM To: exi...@li... Subject: [Exist-open] Call Xquery on button click. I have been looking at the HTML templating samples and I can't seem to figure out how to call an XQ function on button click. I am not using an HTML form. Would the call be in here: $('#submit-button').button().click(function() { alert('hello'); }); Or in here: <button id="submit-button" class="?">Submit</button> Or somewhere else ?
