Hello Dmitriy, our server uses classic HDDs. Maybe using a SSD were an improvement. We'll think about it, thanks for the hint. We have to provide read access to the database 24 hours a day (search interface on a internationally used website), so stopping eXist is not possible. Is there someone having a similiar scenario: many records, no downtime possible, backup necessary?
