Hi all, I'm interested in extending the period of time I can be logged into my eXist-db-based web application. I am finding that the session times out more quickly than I'd like, and I have to re-authenticate often. Many websites like Gmail have a "remember this computer" or "keep me logged in for 2 weeks" checkbox. This kind of thing would do the trick - since you could use it when logging in at a work/home computer but leave it off when logging in from other machines. Does anyone have suggestions for the best way(s) to do this with eXist-db? While I know what sessions and cookies are, I've never knowingly used/manipulated them with eXist-db, so I'd appreciate any pointers or discussions of various approaches. Thanks, Joe |
