I have a client and they have very large data. Their database crashes every other day and they think that it is because of scheduled backup. Their consistency check used to run with scheduled backup defined in conf.xml(database instance is alive). Recently they start to run command line backup(client side). That's why I was looking for manual consistency check. We don't want to stop production database instance to run consistency check. Based on Anton's suggestion, I ran Xquery scripts for consistency check yesterday and I found out that during consistency check, all requests are halted waiting for consistency check to finish. Could someone please confirm this?
