Not a reply to your question, but might be interesting for you: You can find a bunch of tests in the test/src/xquery folder. Those containing "ignore" are probably not (yet) passed by eXist. The following files contain such tests: pathExpression_operators.xml parenthesizedContext.xml axes.xml parenthesizedLocationStep.xml persistent_in-memory.xml locationStepVariables.xml matchHighlighting.xml selfAxis.xml In addition, I submitted some (partially failing) tests to http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3158912&group_id=17691&atid=117691 https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3317188&group_id=17691&atid=117691 Not all of these are pure XQuery though, some test eXist-specific extensions.
