I'd like to try out eXide and my understanding is that means I'd need to
build eXist from the Subversion trunk (or eXide isn't a part of the 1.4.1RC
version is it?).
But I'm new to subversion and I just wanted to ask/confirm: Do I need
special permission/a login/whatever to do that?
Partly I ask cause I'd hoped I'd easily stumble on something explaining how
to simply get a copy of all the files in a subversion repository - but in my
brief googling so far everything starts on the assumption I'd really and
truly be doing checkins/checkouts...
Made me think I should double check about this and/or ask for pointers if
anybody knows of a basic write-up on the steps a newbie would need to follow
to build eXist from trunk. :)
