Hi, I am using eXist stable version (Linux, Tomcat5.5, Saxon9) on a production system and encounter a strange problem with the collection() Xquery function. If I create a collection named "ç" (or any of the following letters: µ, å, °, ©, ô, î, ê, è, â, à, é, ï) and populate them with some documents, the call to collection("/db/articles/ç")/count(./*) always return 0! And a call to collection("/db/articles/ç") returns an empty sequence. The source of the wrong behavior... Documents inside these collections are indexed, searchable via Xquery/Xpath, visible/manageable via InteractiveClient, etc. The problem only occurs with the collection() and xcollection() function calls. Sounds like a character encoding issue. Thank you in advance for your help! Best regards, Benoit (mercibe) |
