Sure, that's not the issue though... the problem is: - you run a query across gigabytes of XML and some nodes are returned - you want to process those nodes with XSLT, using something like <xsl:for-each-group> - currently those nodes would be serialized into a document, which is then parsed and given to the XSLT processor ...so the goal is for XSLT to work directly on the result of a query, or even on the database itself using collection() and XPath I'd like to be able to do both, but we'll have to see...
