The exist.sh script is something that I wrote for starting and stopping eXist using the apache commons daemon infrastructure. The script does not quite have the correct bits in it for init.d on linux. Since not all unix environments have the same /etc/init.d infrastructure, I've created a separate script in bin/exist-init.d.sh that you should be able to use with chkconfig. You can download it from subversion at: http://exist.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/*checkout*/exist/trunk/eXist/bin/exist-init.d.sh Please let me know if it doesn't work for some reason. --Alex Milowski |
