Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Kurt Cagle (kurt_cagle) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Workflow Attributes Initial Comment: I'd like to propose two functions: workflow:get-workflow-attribute($collection as item(), $resourceName as xs:string) as xs:string and workflow:set-workflow-attribute($collection as item(),$resourceName as xs:string, $workflow-value as xs:string) as xs:string The workflow attribute is a property of a resource that's used for determining where that resource is in its life-cycle. The specific values of the workflow attribute are user defined (the default is the empty string), but such an attribute may have a printing bias (draft, reviewed, published, archived, purged), a pipeline flow bias (input,pipe1,pipe2,pipe3,output) and so on. Typically, workflow status is document metadata rather than document data, and as such shouldn't necessarily be a part of the XML structure of collection records by itself. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=367691&aid=1826672&group_id=17691 |
