Although there are not many resources on the net, it is indeed not possible to re-define a custom protocol handler. The stupid thing is that is not even possible (our fall back) to set java.protocol.handler.pkgs to org.exist.protocolhandler.protocols .... this seem to be a longstanding issue in tomcat... http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=4648098 not sure how to solve this. Reverting the code is not an option, the change of validation:validate() signature is *not* the cause of the problem. The Custom protocol handler is a fundamental part of the improved validation-code in exist. I need help (mailing list) to tackle this (tomcat specific?) issue....... regards Dannes -- # Dannes Wessels # The Netherlands # # Jabber / ICQ / MSN / AIM / Yahoo / gTalk / Skype / LinkedIn # |
