You may find something that meets your case there. Your current problem statement is too imprecise for anyone to offer any real help. You will need to track down precisely what is happening and where. Where and how are you attempting to inspect the "result charset"? In what way is it "not utf-8"? Are you sure eXist is getting to see the query in correct utf-8 in the first place? > I have some config parameter change to UTF-8 but nothing change. If you mean you changed some core eXist parameters, this is a Bad Idea. eXist as shipped is utf-8 clean. Even if some of the character set parameter settings seem counter-intuitive, they are what is needed. But as you are deploying it, eXist is wrapped in a lot of third-party stuff, and their record for encoding handling is less reliable than eXist's What happens is you use the Java client in embedded mode to submit the query that you are currently passing in via your GET? If the result encoding is still incorrect in that stripped-down environment, then this is indeed an eXist problem, but I think that's unlikely. Michael Beddow |
