If both return the expected keys, that's rather encouraging.

We have experienced such GeneralComparison problems in the past but I 
can't remember when (i.e. after or before the release).

They probably have been fixed in current trunk since a good bunch of 
this code has been revisited, especially when Wolgang introduced the 
optimization features.
