Hi,=20 =20 Today I started upgrading to exist-1.0rc. This is the first time I used the java client to perform the backup/restore cycle, and I do not think my trouble is specifically 1.0rc related.=20 The restore initially seemed to be OK, and I can access the files with the exist java client. But I can no longer access them with browser interface, and neither can I access them with my own servlet (which uses SOAP).=20 Most of my xml files contain 2 '=3D' characters in their filenames. The java client displays the filenames in their original form, but the browser interface displays them differently: the =3D characters have = been replaced by %3D (the position of =3D in the ascii table).=20 I checked the backup directory, by looking in the __contents__.xml files. These files contain my filenames in their original form; no %3D in there. So I think it is the restore phase that does this =3D to %3D translation.=20 =20 How can I prevent this translation?=20 (I prefer to keep the =3D characters if possible.) =20 Regards,=20 Fons. =20 |
