[Exist-open] European eXist Meeting

eXist is now approaching its fifth birthday. Since the last Beta
version we had good progress, we gained stability, new features were
added etc etc. A new beta will be released in the near future and we
are heading towards 1.0.

On IRC there has already been some chat about this: We think it is a
very good idea to organize for the eXist developers and contributors
(and a number of users) a small workshop this winter, "somewhere in
Europe". Small means approx. 20 people.

We would like to talk about our roadmap for the future, development
directions, discuss priorities and wishes (and last but not least:
drink a few beers).

For this meeting [medio january, early february] we are searching for
a good location, preferably a bit in the centre of Europe. We don't
need a fancy expensive Hotel, so the Frankfurt area is not a good
idea.

If you have an idea or suggestion, or even a good location, please contact =
us !
