With some modifications you can also use the Java service wrapper to start the standalone server. First step is to edit tools/wrapper/conf/wrapper.conf.in and change the main class property to point to org.exist.Server (or org.exist.StandaloneServer if you are using a newer snapshot). However, Jetty is currently started via a custom main class, org.exist.wrapper.Main. This makes it possible to use eXist's bootstrap loader to find the correct jars. Without this custom main class, you have to add all the required jars to wrapper.conf.in manually. To create the shell scripts, call build.sh wrapper. Wolfgang |
