Hi, i have setup a slackware installation with 2 disks.
I
configured EVMS (via a new kernel compilation) and i can start it in
the GUI in xwindows.
It was looking and searching to see how
it's working (a bit) and i found out that it is not possible to put my
slackware installation in RAID1 with another disk because my hda
has already a filesystem on it !
Is this really so ? if yes, could
someone please tell me how to setup a installation with RAID1
please ?
and is there no downloadable manual guide in pdf
or something ????
help plz !!

Hello Philippe,
I need you to clarify the problem.
Did you create the RAID1 setup before EVMS? With the
RAIDTOOLS for example? Or are your trying to create one now
mirroring you existing hda partitions?
There is an EVMS user's guide at http://evms.sf.net but no
RAID specific instructions though.
If you are comfortable with IRC you could also seek help on
our #evms channel on irc.freenode.net. There are usually a
few folks on the channel that have quite a bit of experience
configuring RAID setups.
regards,
Luciano
