Greetings, I have applied the evms patch ontop of the user-mode-patch for linux 2.4.12, without too much hassle. The changes that needed to be made: 1. Addition of th following line to 'arch/um/config.in' source drivers/evms/Config.in 2. Configure and compile usermode kernel as standard (with evms options) 3. Boot.. getting the following in dmesg.. EVMS v0.2.1 initializing .... info level(5). 4. Install userspace tools. Now, what do I do? Under user-mode-linux, the filesystem /dev/ubd/0 (major 98, minor 0) brw-rw---- 1 root root 98, 0 Jan 1 1970 0 I can't see '/dev/evms' either. I can run the userspace tools, but I don't know how to use them.
