the backport of evms-2.5.3-7 (from unstable) is in my brand new apt 
repository, together with a build of multipath-tools 0.4.6 for sarge.

If you don't want to use apt you can fetch them directly from the pool 
directory:

I'll keep updates posted on

I did _not_ test them yet, that'll be done tomorrow - I don't have a SAN at 
home.
