I definitely feel Ubuntu should have these patches, as the bugs can badly corrupt a RAID-5 volume under specific circumstances (I've had it happen to me; EVMS eating my production RAID-5 was part of how the bug was discovered in the first place :-) ). What's the e-mail address for the backport team? I should probably make an upload to Debian stable containing just the RAID-5 bugfix as well; sarge has 2.5.2, with the exact same bug. /* Steinar */ -- Homepage: http://www.sesse.net/ |
