Well, I don't see any mention of 75941 in the latest beta-kernel's changelog, so I will be quite reluctant to use the SP2 kernel once it is released as GA. > Were you able to gather any information about the cause of the "sporadic" > hangs you still got with the SP2-RC2 kernel? Unfortunately not. I only know that it did not happen once since I switched to mainline kernel 2.6.11.12. I emailed Hubert Mantel and also filed a bug using SuSE's feedback form but did not get anything but automated replies. What could be done to gather any information? The logs were empty...
