I tried the SP2-RC2 drop of the SuSE kernel which magically=20 re-appeared over the weekend. It _seemed_ to fix our problem as I could not= =20 make things stall while resetting snapshots during I/O activity anymore.=20 However, the sporadic hangs still occur (actually, having a compute cluster= =20 running for only 2 hours before it hanging again is not _that_ sporadic). I checked the changelog of today's kernel and found a reference to bug 6203= 2,=20 but not to 75941. Can you shed some light on what this bug is about? I am=20 still arguing with our SuSE office about getting access to their bugzilla=20 system... Regards, Martin Schaff=F6ner |
