I tried it, but it seems one of two has happened.
1. I have recked it when I tried to replace it.
2. It just does not work.
My command: fsck.reiserfs --rebuild-tree /dev/evms/ld
Output (just last lines:)
Do you want to run this program?[N/Yes] (note need to type Yes if you
do):Yes
Replaying journal..
0 transactions replayed
bwrite: write 4096 bytes returned -1 (block=16, dev=3): Operation not
permitted
--rebuild-sb reports all ok.
This happens if I try to mount it:
mount /dev/evms/ld /mnt/ld/
mount: block device /dev/evms/ld is write-protected, mounting read-only
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/evms/ld,
or too many mounted file systems
Just to make sure I did not wreck it myself trying to replace the disk I
will try this again on Monday.
Best regards
