Evernote2onenote versions: 1.1.9.198 & 1.2.0.200
OneNote 2016
After clicking "Start Import", I receive many of the following errors:
Note: <Note Name="">
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80042000): Exception from HRESULT: 0x80042000
at Microsoft.Office.Interop.OneNote.IApplication.UpdatePageContent(String bstrPageChangesXmlIn, DateTime dateExpectedLastModified, XMLSchema xsSchema, Boolean force)
at Evernote2Onenote.MainFrm.ImportNotesToOnenote(String folder, List`1 notesEvernote, String exportFile)
That means the note content isn't converted properly to the onenote format and onenote rejects it.
If you could either attach one of these notes here or send it directly to me I can try and fix the converter.
Note: if you attach such a note here make sure it does not contain confidential info. Otherwise, send it to me at 'tortoisesvn at gmail . com'
Hi Stefan, just making sure you received a copy of an example offending note at your gmail .com address. Thankyou
This happens on every note I try to import. I even created a new notebook with only one note with just simple text content and got this error.
I figured out the issue. I didn't have the desktop version of 2013. I had the 2010 desktop version and the 2013 Windows app version that comes with Windows 10. Unfortunately, now the converter runs without error but I can't find the imported notes anywhere. How can I figure out where they are going?
In Onenote:
File->Options->Save & Backup
The locations of all notebooks and the quick-notes-section are listed there.
