#54 Could not create target notebook in Onenote

Apperently OneNote is not registered correctly.
Will reinstall.

I had the same error but it seemed to be due to the fact that the following folder was not created: C:\Users\darl\Documents\OneNote Notebooks

Did you find a solution? Did you create the folder by hand?

I checked and I have the folder, except it is under MyDcuments

C:\Users\<username>\Documents\OneNote Notebooks\My Notebook</username>

I had the same error as yours from the screenshot. The problem, for me, was resolved by recreating the folder by hand, OneNote Notebooks

Creating the notebook

C:\Users\<username>\Documents\OneNote Notebooks

by hand worked for me.
