[Ettercap-betatesting] ettercap NG goes proprietary

due to the recent EU software patent laws, we are considering to patent 
the ettercap NG code. once the code will be patented, we will be hired 
by NetSniffer Inc. the development will continue under the guide of 
their project manager. they will also provide phone support 
(1-800-ETTERCAP) for registered users.
we are strongly convinced that this will greatly improove the ettercap 
project.

ettercap NG will be released as closed source code (binary only).
you will have to purchase it for 30 Euro.

only for today (2004-04-01) and only for betatester (subscribed to this 
list), you can register to receive a free copy of the NG version with 
one year support included.

We apologize for the bad news, but even developers have to survive... 
and they do not feed themselves only with code...
