[Ettercap-betatesting] [NG devel] getting closer to release

Hi guys,

we are proud to announce that the release of the first official NG 
tarball is near in the future.
the curses GUI is almost done. you can use it to view the profiles, the 
live connections and all the others task you were used to do with 
ettercap 0.6.x.  some functionalities are still lacking (e.g. the 
injection) but the "big part" was done.  try the GUI and report any 
unexpected behaviour. to know all the functionalities please read the 
ettercap_curses.8 man page.


This new snapshot includes:

1) the nice curses GUI

2) HTTP, yahoo, portmap, ldap, socks dissector

3) the tarball should compile fine on: linux, freebsd, openbsd and 
solaris. macosx needs more testing

5) some other plugin were ported to NG.

next in our TODO is the SSL support, injection from the GUI, kill of a 
connection and all the other pending stuff.
