Works fine. I didn't test it without the delay. I have no objections to
leaving the delay in, just in case; it's not a noticeable delay.

Will release 5.0.11 tomorrow. Any developers with other concerns, speak
now or hold your peace. The CVS version can be viewed for the current
state.
