Hello all, I'm trying to boot a diskless PC using Linux on both the client and server. I use 2.2.19 kernel. I have made the bootrom image for my NIC and i have tested it with a floppy. 1. The diskless PC gets its IP and kernel path from BOOTP server 2. It downloads its kernel via tftp 3. It boots the tagged kernel image 4. When trying to mount its NFS root filesystem some errors occur Here is what appears on the screen: Looking up port of RPC 100003/2 on 192.168.1.13 RPC: sendmsg returned error 101 portmap: RPC call returned error code 101 Root-NFS: Unable to get mountd port number from server Root-NFS: Server returned error 101 while mounting /nfsroot Is there a way to pass arguments to the kernel with the etherboot loader? ________________________________________________________________ Keine verlorenen Lotto-Quittungen, keine vergessenen Gewinne mehr!
