The gpxe-0.5 branch is not supplying Option 60: Vendor class identifier = "<something>" As part of the DCHP REQUEST packet. That is why I was having trouble getting my dhcpd.conf to respond correctly ... because I was looking for substring(option vendor-class-identifier,0,9)="Etherboot" in my dhcpd.conf in order to use gpxe as a second-stage PXE loader. I used ethereal to capture the packets, and Option 60 is not being provided in the gpxe-0.5 branch. It is being provided in the etherboot-5.4 branch.
