One thing that I've been a little hazy on reading through the documentation is the difference between gpxe and Etherboot. Is gpxe supposed to be the first-stage loader for Etherboot? Is gpxe just a better replacement for PXELINUX.0? Or does it include all of the features of Etherboot? Is Etherboot what I should burn into the card's rom, if I want to be able to load my kernel off of, say, an iscsi target? Or are both required for this? Or are they just names for the same thing? Thanks, -Luke |
