Hi, im having trouble booting diskless machines with DHCP on Windows 2000 Server. When i had my dhcp server on Linux i didnt have any problems with diskless workstations. But, when i moved to W2k DHCP server i configured the same options and im getting this error. The Kernel has support to NFS-ROOT, cause on Linux servers it works. This is the error: Portmap: RPC Call returned error 101 Root-NFS: Unable to get nfsd port number from server, using default Looking up port of RPC 100005/1 on 192.168.99.253 . . . VFS: Unable to mount root fs via NFS, trying floppy. VFS: insert root floppy and press ENTER I've already tried to put in /etc/hosts.allow a line with: portmap: 192.168.99. and my exports is like this: /tftpboot 192.168.99.0/255.255.255.0(no_root_squash,rw) All the estations are in the /etc/hosts, and i've already tried with DNS too. Does anyone have an idea about it?
