Thanks for replying. Anyway if you have seen this page. http://www.ablebits.com/ ... and look for the http://www.ablebits.com/excel-lookup-tables/index.php under Merge Tables Wizard. It's a good add in as it will match the data and move it to the end or any column that you wish. It is something like when you do the vlookup to look for a match data and move it to the specific column.

After the next release, I will be looking at another VLookup function, which I may use as a basis for adding this feature. It looks complicated and personally I don't think I would ever use it, so I cannot guarantee that every feature would be implemented.

Good Day, I am interested in a tool to map fields (columns) between 2 excel files for import. Several fields on 1 sheet in each file have to be utilized and this will be used once per month looking at perhaps 400 rows. Does your product support a solution for this and if so how? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Dana

Not really. You could look at the vlookup UDFs available in the Add-In, but I don't think you want to add formulas to do it. You can look at my other Add-In called SpreadSheet Compare. Do a search for it on SourceForge. Again, it does not perform merging, but can perform an update of compared sheets. So if you can can compare the data between two sheets, you could then update one sheet with the data in the other.
