Hello Jonathan, Thank you very much! Another issue on Linux platform. If I compile dictionary with command `espeak --compile=zh-yue`. The dictionary is generated but there is no sound when speaking. But it works fine if I compile with command `espeak --compile=zhy`. Is it a bug? I have made a lot of update to Cantonese dictonary in the past months. Could you please help to update it on http://espeak.sourceforge.net/data/? The new dictionary can be obtain in following link: http://www.eguidedog.net/files/zhy_list And could you please rename the Cantonese voice name from "cantonese-test" to "cantonese"? I think this voice works fine enough generally. Thanks again! 黄冠能(Cameron Wong) ----- 原始邮件 ---- 发件人: Jonathan Duddington <jo...@ta...> 收件人: espeak-general <esp...@li...> 发送日期: 2010/3/13 (周六) 9:50:16 下午 主 题: Re: [Espeak-general] Cantonese voice seems broken > In the latest release, some syllables of Cantonese have extra > silence. For example, there is long silence after number "1". Fixed now in eSpeak 1.43.11, at: http://espeak.sf.net/test/latest.html This was an error in the eSpeak program. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Download Intel® Parallel Studio Eval Try the new software tools for yourself.
