Thanks a lot this really helped me.
I have no direct access to ubuntu box so I will need to try to get all 
the tools compiled so i won't need xwindow at all but it seems to be 
promising.
Anyway I'll try to get in touch with Willem in case he's confortable 
distributing his build for symbian.
