When attemting to sign in, esniper fails with this message, however no login attempts been made before at least for a day.

More info: esniper actually signs in, but lands on limitsexceeded page for some reason.

I don't know if the problem is related to using esniper option -m. (I never use this option.)
Maybe ebay made some incompatible changes to the login process.

Did you run the esniper command manually or is there some software calling "esniper -m"?
Did you call esniper with empty username and password?

Does the same problem occur when you run esniper to bid on an article?

How did you find out that "esniper actually signs in"?

I run "esniper -m" manually.
No, I don't call esniper with empty username/password.
Yes, this problem occurs also when I try to bid.
I have one bid won with "Daily limit exceeded" in log - that's why I suggest that esniper logs in. Afterwards I tried to sign in from browser (cookies cleared) from that same IP - and also ended up on "limitsexceeded", but with user signed in.
I will try to upload all log here.

If you did not use empty username and password, did you remove the username and the "hidden" password from the bug report message?

Maybe ebay wants to block programs from accessing their site. AFAIK they have API keys for registered developers and higher limits for programs that have been checked by ebay.
They may check for certain patterens to distinguish programs from manual users.
The limit seems to be user specific.
Don't know if you would get the same page with a wrong username/password.

I will check if Biet-o-matik (Bid-o-matic) is affected by the same problem.
