#24 Site root + white spaces (failed to transfer)

I just found out now, if your site root contains some whitespace at the front or end of the site root, you might not see it, but it will not transfer and you'll wonder why, careful viewing of the string will show you why, because " /var/www/project" doesnt exist, the space is important.

therefore, we should strip the whitespace from the start+end of the strings instead of just taking them for granted.
