When I right-click on a project name in Eclipse and
select "Get File From Server" to pull down a copy of
the remote site, all files in the root directory are
downloaded as expected, but all folders appear in my
project as zero-byte files. I've done everything I
can think of, and nothing will change them to folders
or make them useable.

If I create a new folder in my local project and put
it to the server, everything works fine. It's only
folders that are being pulled down from the server
that have this problem.

    can this explanation be refined any?

    does it happen with ALL folders, even those which already exist in your project, or does it happen ONLY with folders which are not present in your eclipse project to begin with.

    So I am wondering if esftp has a problem copying remote folders to local, where the local doesnt exist and the remote is a folder.

    can anyone else confirm?

    I guess the bigger question is, that if folders are being represented by 0 byte files, WHERE is this happening?

    also, does it really matter?

    let me know something
