Este Fix Pack resuelve una situación inusual en los binarios precompilados de 64 bits de la suite educativa GCompris, tal y como están disponibles en su página oficial.

Escuelas Linux announces the release of its fourth Fix Pack.

This Fix Pack addresses an unusual situation in the pre-compiled 64-bit binaries of the GCompris educational suite as made available on its official website.

GCompris fails to open if you have an older 64-bit CPU. Running it in Terminology reveals the reason:

CPU ISA level is lower than required.

Similar to the situation we solved for LibreOffice in our Fix Pack 3, the official pre-compiled binaries distributed by the GCompris team now do not run on older 64-bit CPUs.... read more

Escuelas Linux announces the release of its third Fix Pack.

This Fix Pack addresses an unusual choice made by The Document Foundation in their official pre-compiled LibreOffice binaries.

LibreOffice fails to open if you have an older 64-bit CPU. Running it in Terminal reveals the reason:

Esta actualización menor corrige algunos problemas detectados en la versión inicial de nuestra serie 9.x.

• Incluye todas las correcciones y parches incluidos en el Fix Pack 1 para 32 bits y en el Fix Pack 2 para 64 bits. Si utilizas las nuevas imágenes ISO 9.0.1, ya no es necesario aplicar los Fix Packs.

• Se resuelve un problema grave en la versión de 64 bits de Escuelas Linux durante el proceso de instalación, en el que en computadoras que tuvieran Windows instalado en modo no UEFI, el menú GRUB que permite seleccionar los sistemas operativos no aparecía, lo que impedía utilizar Windows. This minor update addresses several issues found in the initial release of our 9.x series.

• It includes all the corrections and fixes in Fix Pack 1 for 32-bit and Fix Pack 2 for 64-bit. Please note that if you use the 9.0.1 ISO images, there is no longer a need to apply the fix packs.

• It solves an issue in the 64-bit version of Escuelas Linux during the installation process on computers that have Windows installed in non-UEFI mode. The GRUB menu that allows you to select operating systems on the installed system would not appear, meaning you would not be able to use Windows. The problem has been solved.... read more

Installing LABSOL Escuelas Linux 9.x 64-bit on Lenovo C260, C240, S200z, or F0AY computers is difficult because, after installation, the computer appears unable to shut down or restart in Linux. You must hold down the physical power button to perform these actions. Even worse, the computer goes directly to Windows as if Escuelas Linux was not installed.

This Hot Fix corrects the problem whereby running Apache NetBeans displays version 26 instead of 28.

This Hot Fix should only be applied if you have updated from a previous version of the Developer Pack. It is not necessary to apply this Hot Fix in two cases:

-If you installed the Developer Pack on your computer for the first time, or
