You need to use 7.1.3 which is included in the source code (‘documentation/buildAndInstall/jboss-as-7.1.3.final.zip’). The current version doesn’t work  with 7.1.1. And the zip in the sources includes ‘bin/standalone.sh’.

But I really encourage you to start with ansible. It’s only a few steps and then you have an automated way to install and later update the system.

Hi,
Should use Jboss 7.1.1 or 7.1.3 . Simon sent me a document about installing and he mentioned to use 7.1.3 . When i download that version i couldn't find the standalone.sh on JBOSS 7.1.3

Hi,

I began to install escience code on ubuntu 14.04 . I followed the steps in given in http://sourceforge.net/p/esciencecentral/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/documentation/manuals/ESC-InstallGuide.docx for ubuntu . Everything went on smoothly but while starting the engine i am getting a JBOSS Error like


Caused by: javax.xml.stream.XMLStreamException: ParseError at [row,col]:[3,1]

Message: Unexpected element '{urn:jboss:domain:1.3}server'

Can anyone help me on this ?
