even when configured in the options menu, the recovery record is not being added to the archive.

I am currently at a loss as to how to resolve this bug.
If I use rr[n]p without the hyphen, the file gets outputted to an archive called "rr[n]p.rar"
If I use a hyphen, then nothing gets archived.
The WinRAR manual says to use either a "p" or "%%" to denote recovery record size, but neither solution seems to work within a batch file.
I am currently soliciting solutions to this problem.
This bug is not likely to get fixed until the end of summer; I need a vacation.
