Hi Alan.

I tried playing a skald and think it is imbalanced. Playing music takes a lot of stamina. I thought once I gained levels I wouldn't notice it as much because I would have more health. At level 4 it wasn't any better. It might be okay once I got some higher stamina-healing spells, but then I am casting a stamina spell on the character when I could be targeting monsters or healing a character.

Hi Rob

Thanks for the feedback.

Currently using musical instruments costs 2d2 stamina per casting level, for every instrument.
As characters level up and increase Music modifier, using the instrument will generate higher casting levels.
Musical instruments will generate better effects in the presence of more of a specific colour of magic - Gold for the Bardic Harp.
There are also better instruments than the Bardic Harp the generate more powerful spells (but have the same stania cost) - have you found any of them?

Still, I think you're right. Maybe 2d2 per casting level is a bit steep. I'll give it some thought.
