How do we achieve websockets authentication in YAWS? I'm referring to identifying the user, not ws vs wss. With AJAX, the PHP server can read the session cookie. Based on the simple YAWS websocket example, we have JavaScript talking to a .yaws server ("endpoint") which returns {websocket, CallbackMod, Options}. In a situation where the page is public but only logged-in users can post, I need to communicate the user info to the CallbackMod. How can this be done? |
