Chaps,

The kernel interface guide, jointly written by OSF and Carnegie Mellon,
is now available on the root directory of eric.sourceforge.net. The
guide is the closest thing to an Eric specification as you can get right
now. (The final specification will be a cut-down redraft of this
100-page tome).

I would strongly recommend getting it downloaded, printed and
spiral-bound.
