Dudes,

I have thought of a nice theme for our OS, one in keeping with the New Age
vision.

Here's a quote from the Xerox-PARC paper just submitted:


"In an information-rich world, the limiting quantity for users isn't so much
the information in the world as the user's own limited time. Just as animals
forage for food and try to optimize their food rate of gain, users often
seek strategies to optimize their information gain per unit time and in
fact, we can make the analogy literal by thinking of the Web in terms of
Information Foraging Theory [1], an analogue of foraging models from
ecological biology [2]"...


We could use this paradigm thoughout our entire distributed OS development!
It could be the most EXCELLENT running thread, one which lay-people can hook
onto, rather than all this abstract, airy corporate bolx. Man, we could
build the principles of Nature herself into this OS!!
