When giving items to a TEMP unit that another faction is creating (and therefore Magellan doesn't know about), the number of items/silver is not subtracted from the unit giving the items away, as shown in the tree on the left and the unit details.

I'd prefer to have it shown as if the giving is taking place, even if it is dependent on the other faction actually making the TEMP unit. I'd rather see less silver than I really have, then see more than I really have, and make the mistake of trying to give the same silver to two units.

(This also happens when using a wrong unit ID, or an existing unit that isn't in the region, but then it doesn't make sense to subtract the silver, since the unit can not show up in the same region unless it is created in that turn.)

hmmm... not sure how this works with hidden units... is it possible to give silver to a unit you KNOW is in the region, but that you can't see since it's hidden?

when to show you that there is no receipient, and when not?
If you give something to an foreign temp unit - the give-relation should be succesfull also without knowing the target.
If you give something to an own temp unit and you made a typo and the server will not pass the item to the wrong spelled temp unit - magellan should show the mistake - meaning there is no succesfull give-relation.
So we would have to check, if we know the "mother" of a temp target. If so, all checks have to be done like now, if we don´t know the mother of a temp target, we do not check and let it happen...the price: if you make a typo on your own temp, you will see it only when you check the receiving units by yourself - manually.

Normally I would say, I prefer more safety within my many transactions to own temp units then the missing reduce of items when giving something to a foreign temp. More arguments?

When no recipient is found, whether it is a foreign TEMP unit or a misspelled own TEMP unit, a warning could be given saying just that. (I always create the TEMP units first and then use the order autocompletion, myself).
