When merging reports from allies that speak a
different language, a lot of the interface gets
changed. It would be nice if the language of the main
faction was used for things like spells, luxury
goods, etc, even if a .cr from a different language
was merged in.

Main faction?
I suggest either, the language of the original report will
always be kept, or (more to do) the user is asked, which
language the merged Data should "have".
Definition of "main faction" is not clear.

With "main faction" I meant the faction you are actually
writing the orders for. This would indeed most likely be
the language of the original report. Alternatively it
could be the same as Magellan's interface language (from
magellan.ini):
locales.gui=en
locales.orders=en

We have a legal problem here: Eressea ist the
only "Atlantis type Game" I know with multilanguage
support.
As far as i know sharing CRs is prohibited by the game
master Enno. You may only merge your own CRs to the CRs
from former rounds - and within this procedure no language-
conflict will occure. So there is no "legal" situation to
merge CRs with different languages.
(Exception: you start with a default german cr and
switching to english within the first rounds...and for
this the actual behavior is well working I guess)

With all the "world" maps that circulate, I wasn't aware
of that ;)
